One that is much stronger than ground flax seeds. Flax seed gel is still a bit liquid, whereas chia seed gel will be the consistency of hair gel.

It turned out that unknown to me, I had two binders in the muffins and the gooey bread they made could have held dentures in place. Now I know, if I cook with prickly pear nectar again...you don't need another binder the prickly pear alone will do the job nicely.

Sheltie GirlNatalie, aka "Sheltie Girl"https://www.blogger.com/profile/01046499785389700382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26815645.post-90162288510718504182007-11-11T17:12:00.000-05:002007-11-11T17:12:00.000-05:00yikes, I'm glad that you have your computer back! ...yikes, I'm glad that you have your computer back! I'd go insane if I had to be without mine for a long period of time, haha. It's funny how much we need to rely on technology these days :0)

wow, Prickly Pear Mesquite Mini Muffins? so innovative!! Sorry that the chia seeds didn't work as a binder - have you ever tried ground flaxseed as a binder? I find that it works quite well in recipes.LizNoVeggieGirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00785142908687097216noreply@blogger.com
